It’s undeniably our favourite day of the week, and for some of us at the LOCG team, we are gearing up for a long weekend ahead. But, before we let loose and unwind, we are excited to share and unpack all that we have been working on this week.

Judgement day in LOCGame Metaverse

We are only a few days away from the most anticipated event in the LOCG metaverse. Finally, we will have the chance to get a glimpse of the sacred temple of Satoshi Nakamoto for the first time at the sacrificial ritual of cards.

You are invited to be a witness and to participate in this sacred event by deciding which of the four cards will pass through the sacred fire through your vote.

Out of the four cards (Launchpader, Crypto Banter, The Dumper and No Coiner) selected, 3 will be chosen, and banished from the metaverse. The 3 cards will no longer be playable in the game. The owners of the cards selected to take part in the ritual will sacrifice them at the temple, and will receive another card as reward.

ICYMI: this week, we announced that LOCGame is expanding to new platforms to keep our growing community engaged and to remain accessible to even more people, and so, we are now on TikTok and Soundcloud. New Soundtrack Alert!

What’s a Friday evening without some nice music and perhaps a bottle of beer or two?

Ilyas Kharisov-Bogachev is a Game Developer with 3 years of experience in mobile and PC games. He passionately tracks news in the video game industry, learning architecture best practices in game development. When he isn’t building games, he likes to play and explore video games, and watch anime and films. Currently, he is exploring the Dark Souls series game design approach by Hidetaka Miyazaki.

LOCGame at Polygon Ignite Event

Today, the LOCGame team made an appearance at the Polygon Ignite Event happening in Amsterdam.

Game updates

This week, the focus of the game team was on stability and new features.

Stability: On the stability side, they worked on writing the game core from scratch. That will enable more stable builds, along with releasing more features in faster iterations.

New Features: They’ve been working on features to be released in Season 0. The features include; tournaments, friendly PvP, in-game currency, improved AIs, rewarded PvE.

There are so many exciting things to look forward to.

Marketplace updates

This week on the marketplace, we began testing credit card payments for the packs. Our goal is to ensure that you have an overall seamless experience in our marketplace.
