Welcome to our favourite day of the week. We hope that you had an amazing week?
In addition to being the most glorious day of the week, did you know that Friday is named after the planet Venus in many languages?
We bet you didn’t know that.
Well, now that you know, let’s get into the business of today — our weekly update.
- Game updates
- AMA with Earn Guild
- Metaverse Updates
- Social Mentions
First of all, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by glitches in the game. We are aware of these issues and are working all round the clock to resolve them.
This week, the game dev team put a lot of work into improving the PvE mode. We’ve stabilized client-server communication and made a lot of fixes to PvE. These fixes include patches for data delivery time, processing of the responses, data synchronization, and error handling. The story mode fixes will allow for quicker loading, victory animation and a rematch button.
A lot of work has been done on the implementation of dynamic models for MVVM.
Now our card data is not in the client and we do not need to create a new build each time it changes. The information is dynamic and we card data from the server.
The Deckbuilder has been completely refactored and the code has been rewritten. Now it always gets up-to-date data during the game and does not rely on caches.
The visual components show the current state of decks and cards. New visual effects are integrated into the game, improving the main screen, map and play modes. This makes the interaction more beautiful and the process exciting. The new designs and animations are implemented in buttons, multiplayer section, effects in gameplay, faster deck building and new animations.
In PvP mode, we are on a good track to fixing the bugs in friendly matches and high-stakes battles.
AMA with Earn Guild
This week, our Marketing Manager, Andria joined the amazing folks at Earn Guild for an interesting AMA session, where she answered some questions about LegendsOfCrypto the gameplay, new features, and the economy. She also shared some insights on what to expect from the game in the future and the upcoming Metaverse.
The partnership with Earn Guild is expected to increase the new player base through the scholarship program supporting system. Players from the scholarship program will get the chance to earn while playing the game in Season 1. They will also be able to participate in tournaments and win from the reward pools. These plates will have the chance to rent out their NFT cards to players who cannot afford to buy the NFTs yet.
