We’re set to finally launch our 5th staking programme to enable you to earn massive $LOCG rewards and NFTs!
The “Season 0: Apollo Heights” pool has been a long time coming and was already in the works since the release of our sophomore Apollo Edition of NFTs and Season 0 of the LOCGame. Here’s all you need to know about this programme!
With this article, we intend to answer some of your burning questions on how to actually participate in this program. But first, here’s a broad recap of all the steps you need to take:
- Get some $LOCG tokens in your MetaMask Wallet through Uniswap (Recommended for maximum APR).
- Connect your wallet to the Ferrum Network via our official staking page.
- Stake your desired amount of $LOCG!
- Complete the form on the staking page (only if you bought $LOCG on Uniswap)
With that out of the way, let’s break down a few of these steps for clarity.
How to get $LOCG on Uniswap
1. Go to the Uniswap app, or use the Uniswap widget on our staking portal (see below)
2. Connect an Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask.
3. Select LOCG in a dropdown menu and the cryptocurrency you’d like to swap it for (e.g. USDT, as shown above). If it shows a screen such as the one below, no worries — simply click “import” and take the aforementioned steps.
4. After clicking “Swap,” preview the transaction in a pop-up window and then confirm the request directly from your wallet.
5. Next, you’ll have to wait a little for the transaction to be finalized on the Ethereum blockchain — and remember that you can keep track of how this is progressing through the Etherscan.io blockchain explorer.
How to transfer $LOCG from Kucoin to your MetaMask
1. Navigate to https://www.kucoin.com/assets/withdraw or select Assets → “Withdraw”.
2. Select LOCG and continue to fill in the necessary information.
3. Select “Confirm”. The system will now confirm the transaction.
4. Verify KuCoin’s security measures and “Confirm Withdrawal”.
5. After the transaction, check your history by navigating to Deposit Withdrawal History → Withdrawal History.
How to stake on Ferrum Network
1. Visit our official staking portal or use this direct link.
2. Fill in your wallet address that contains $LOCG tokens, and click ‘Stake Now.’
3. Decide the amount of LOCG tokens that you want to stake from your available balance, submit, and you will receive a prompt regarding the transaction fee. If it looks good, then confirm.
4. After clicking confirm, another prompt will come up showing the gas fee. If it looks good, then save, and hit confirm — This is the final fee. Wait until the transaction is completed — Do not refresh, and once completed hit ‘Go back.’
5. You should see how much you’ve staked, the transaction details, and the option to stake even more.
